Using the principle of UV spectral analysis, chemical pollution and turbidity in water can be detected at the same time

By reading the absorbance of OD260 and comparing with the built-in background value (blank) of WaterEye, as long as the OD260 exceeds the set threshold, it means that there may be abnormal components in the water. The abnormal components can be presumed to be organic chemical pollutants, or commonly known as environmental hormones, it mainly includes the chemical composition of microorganisms (ex. nucleic acids/proteins), benzene or conjugated double bonds.

When abnormal results are detected, the user may be advised to use a water filter or change the water source.
